“Greetings from all of us. Siamo in vacanza di Khmer New Year.
On
April 4, the last day before the Khmer New Year, we first of all prayed for
all our benefactors, sponsors, parents, teachers and friends.
We had our
splendid lunch and then we had our big feast with mangoes on our tree in the
school. Some children too brought mangoes from their own homes and shared
with their friends and teachers. In the afternoon, we had dancing and
playing with powder (talc) oh what fun. We enjoyed it very much.
Our school will resume on April 19. On April 28, the grade 6 students are
going out for their long awaited outing to a National Park about two and
half hours from Phnom Penh. They are already very excited and we have to
calm them down.
A big thank you from all of us. The sisters are very grateful for your love
and concern for the poor children of Cambodia. We wish you God's blessing of
health and grace. Happy Easter to you. May the Risen Christ bless you and
reward you abundantly.
