Assemblea del Comitato Promozione e Protezione Diritti Umani |

Giovedì 11 gennaio 2007 si è tenuta un’assemblea del Comitato Promozione e Protezione Diritti Umani (di cui fanno parte 63 ONG) alla Fondazione Basso a Roma. È stata accolta la richiesta di adesione del Vides Internazionale. La discussione ha riguardato i progressi ottenuti dal Comitato sull’auspicata creazione di una Istituzione Nazionale Indipendente dei Diritti Umani e sul monitoraggio delle violazioni svolto. A fine febbraio si terrà una nuova riunione sulle strategie da seguire.

Thursday 11 January 2007 an assembly of the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights Committee (composed of 63 NGO) was held at the Basso Foundation in Rome. The adherence of Vides International was accepted. The discussion mainly concerned the progress obtained by the Committee on the creation of a National Independent Institution of Human Rights and on the monitoring of violations done. At the end of February, another meeting concerning the follow up strategy will be held.
