I giovani del mondo si sono riuniti nella sede delle Nazioni Unite per il Giorno Internazionale della Gioventù per continuare a parlare della povertà
I giovani, provenendo da tutti i lati del mondo, si sono riuniti nella sede delle Nazioni Unite a New York oggi per dibattere sulle misure che potrebbero prendere con lo scopo di sradicare la povertà tra i giovani durante un evento per la commemorazione del Giorno Internazionale della Gioventù, il 12 Agosto.
Il servizio alla comunità e l’educazione sono le soluzione contro la povertà che sono state sottolineate durante le discussioni. Rakhmadjon Sobirov dall’Uzbekistan ha messo in evidenza il potenziale dei giovani ad aiutare i loro paesi migliorando loro stessi attraverso l’istruzione. “L’unica soluzione che vediamo è attraverso l’educazione e diventare un specialista nel nostro campo,” ha dichiarato. “Sia un avvocato o sia un economista, ognuno di noi può contribuire.”

Global youth gather at UN Headquarters for International Youth Day talks on poverty
Young people from the far reaches of the globe gathered at United Nations Headquarters in New York today to discuss measures they can take in tackling youth poverty at an event to commemorate International Youth Day, marked each year on 12 August.
Community service and education were the poverty solutions highlighted in discussions. Rakhmadjon Sobirov of Uzbekistan stressed the potential of young people to help foster a better future in their countries by improving themselves through learning. “We see the only way is through education and becoming a specialist in our own field,” he said. “Whether as a lawyer or economist, everyone has their own share to contribute.”
