Condannando gli attentati in Algeria, Ban Ki - moon insiste su un’azione collettiva contro il terrore
Il segretario generale delle Nazioni Unite Ban Ki-moon ha dichiarato apertamente il suo dissenso agli attentati omicidi che hanno infiammato l’Algeria, dimostrando come questi deplorevoli attacchi rappresentino un’ulteriore prova del bisogno di un’azione concertata per combattere il terrorismo.
“Il segretario generale condanna fortemente le bombe terroriste che sono scoppiate oggi in Algeria, uccidendo e ferendo molti civili innocenti in quello che è stato considerato un attentato contro il Primo ministro” il portavoce del Segretario Generale lo ha affermato in una dichiarazione scritta.
All’inizio di quest’anno, in un appello alla Assemblea generale, Mr Ban aveva detto riguardo al terrorismo “ colpisce tutto ciò che le Nazioni Unite rappresentano “ e ha definito la lotta contro questo male sociale “la nostra missione comune”.

Condemning blasts in Algeria, Ban Ki-moon urges global action against terror
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today spoke out against the deadly blasts that rocked Algeria, calling the “deplorable” attacks further evidence of the need for concerted global action to fight terrorism.
“The Secretary-General strongly condemns the terrorist bombings that occurred today in Algeria, killing and wounding many innocent civilians in what has been reported as an attempt against the Prime Minister,” a spokesperson for Mr. Ban said in a statement.
Earlier this year, in an address to the General Assembly, Mr. Ban said terrorism “strikes against everything the United Nations stands for” and called the fight against the scourge “our common mission.”
